Today we are going to look at a mechanical keyboard with an interesting backlight and two types of connection (wired or Bluetooth). The design uses loud blue switches (mechanical switches).

In this lot you can choose between two models: “ALPHA” with blue switches and “CHARLIE” with red switches. They differ also by color of caps of letter keys white/black.
The keyboard comes to the user in a cardboard box in the manufacturer’s colors:
The keyboard is wrapped in packing material.

Features:

  • Brand Name: MACHENIKE
  • Model: K600-B100W (blue/red keyboard switches)
  • Number of keys: 100
  • Layout: English
  • Sweets: Outemu blue
  • Backlight effects: 17
  • Connecting: cable/Bluetooth 5.0
  • Cable: Type C 1.5m
  • Battery capacity: 2000 mAh
  • Power supply: 5V 300mA
  • Dimensions: 39013545mm
  • Weight: 823 g.

K600 keyboard, USB Type C cable, a couple of manuals in Chinese and a staple for removing the keys.

Good quality cable with EMI filter, the excess can be shortened with a cable tie with Velcro:

Let’s move on to the heroine of the review, the K600 keyboard:

There are only 100 keys and arranged not quite the classic way – I miss the PrintScreen.
Due to the fact that the block of 6 keys, which are usually above the arrows, is scattered here – it takes time to get used to the keyboard.
The weight of the device: 780 g.

The back part.

In addition to the feet, there are four rubber stickers.

The feet are 2 pcs. in three positions (5-8-11 degrees of inclination).

Between the key blocks there are 4 small indicators.

The type of keyboard connection is selected by a switch.

Internal battery is charged by cable, its capacity suffices for 10-12 days of work – tested.

And the connection via Bluetooth is possible to three different devices (Fn+1/2/3).

Compatible with smartphone, both by wire and without.

Since I used the keyboard for a couple of weeks, I had to modify it.

Stickers are a tried and tested topic, I had them on a membrane MIIIW.

The blue switches give a distinct and loud click. Pressing force, measured with a stack of coins, showed 62 grams.

It looks very impressive in the dark, and if you get bored, you can turn it off altogether.

Pros:

  • Multivariant backlighting
  • Clear response
  • Two variants of connection

Cons:

  • High price
  • No proprietary software
